Madi was born and raised in Austin, MN, and began her dance journey at just two years old. Throughout her training, she had the privilege of learning from many esteemed choreographers and was given opportunities to assist, teach, and work alongside her teachers and coaches from a young age.

After graduating from Austin High School in 2017, Madi attended Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she was a member of the nationally recognized Minnesota State University Dance Team. She served as captain for three years, won a national championship in Pom, and was honored with the Maverick Award her senior year, voted on by both her teammates and coaches. She graduated magna cum laude in December 2020 with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Dance.

This is Madi’s 6th year at JPJ and her 2nd year as head coach of the Minnesota State University Dance Team, where she has led her team to four national championships in just two years. At JPJ, she continues to teach and choreograph multiple award-winning routines. She has received choreography awards, most recently for her contemporary piece “You Don’t Even Know Me" last season.

Outside of JPJ, Madi is the Marketing Director at Exclusively Diamonds. She is deeply passionate about dance and takes pride in mentoring and inspiring the next generation of dancers while sharing her love for the art with her JPJ family.
